My Allergy ID app terms and conditions

This document sets out the terms and conditions on which the My Allergy ID application permits use of the app. Please read our terms and conditions in their entirety before using the app because use of our services constitutes acceptance of the Terms and Conditions until your account is removed from our system.

1.0 Definitions

2.0 Use of Personal Data and Sensitive Personal Data

The information you input when creating an account and any personal data that is collected automatically is governed by the information included in our Privacy Notice.

3.0 Limitation of Liability

You understand and agree that neither My Allergy ID, any content owner or third party processor, nor their respective directors, officers, employees, contractors, agents, any company subsidiary or associates, will be responsible for any indirect, incidental, punitive, special, consequential or exemplary damages or loss of any kind as a result of the use of the My Allergy ID app, its content or any information made available to you through use or registration with our service.

Reliance on information and conclusions provided by My Allergy ID is solely at your own risk. We recommend that regardless of whether our app indicates that the product manufacturer has not recorded the presence of any allergens that you have specified in your My Allergy ID profile, that you check the ingredients contained in the product to ensure your safety.  The My Allergy ID app is for indicative product selection purposes only and a final check of the ingredients should always be made before consumption. If you think you have a medical emergency, call 999 immediately.

My Allergy ID accepts no liability for failure by the manufacturers of products listed on the app to disclose any and all ingredients or traces of other allergens in the products or failure by the supplier to prevent contamination of the product prior to your consumption of it.

My Allergy ID accepts no liability for any failure by you to accurately record any and all of your allergies in your My Allergy ID profile.

We disclaim all and any liability for any form of unauthorized access to or use of your personal information. If you do not agree with our disclaimer, you should not register with our service.

4.0 Intellectual Property Rights

You acknowledge that all the content on our app (i.e. its features, functionality; including but not limited to information, software, text, displays, images and the design) are owned by My Allergy ID and therefore are subject to copyright and you should ensure that any copied content is used only for research and/or reference purposes and may not be copied, reproduced, rebroadcast, or used commercially in all or any part without our express prior written consent.

5.0 Termination and Suspension

You may stop using our services at any time should you wish to do so. We reserve the right to terminate your account should you fail to comply with these Terms or if your use of the app suggests risks of harm, losses to My Allergy ID or any other registered user. We will of course notify you, in most cases, in advance of your account termination via the email address you registered with to provide you with the opportunity to remove your information from our service or to conform to our Terms once more. If you then fail to comply with the options we provide to you we will terminate or suspend access to your account.

We will not notify you in advance of your account termination if:

  • We are not permitted to do so by law
  • It would cause legal liability or compromise our ability to provide our services to other users

If we do terminate your account you must not attempt to re-subscribe to the My Allergy ID app with another account.

6.0 Changes to Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to revise these Terms at any time we deem it appropriate or necessary. We will notify you of any changes to these Terms via the email address you registered with and by continuing your use of our services after these changes have been made you agree to be bound by the updated terms of use.

I consent to My Allergy ID processing sensitive personal data provided by me in order to deliver the service which is the subject of these terms and conditions.
